This antique 9ct Gold coiled snake fob seal pendant is as unique as it is beautiful! The solid 9ct Gold frame takes the form of an incredible serpent, wrapping itself around to create an eye-catching design.
You will absolutely LOVE this Victorian design. The snake is a Victorian symbol of eternity which was highly fashionable in the 19th century. The plum-coloured glass has a cherub intaglio flying over a fruitful blossoming basket of flowers with the motto "une seule ne suffit" - an old French saying roughly translating to "One alone is not enough". How romantic!

Condition:
VERY GOOD: This antique 9ct Gold coiled fob seal pendant is in fabulous condition. The solid 9ct Gold frame has been masterfully made and is very sturdy with a solid Gold jump ring for you to easily add your own chain. The glass has a strong intaglio engraving which can still be used perfectly as a wax seal! There are a few tiny fleabites to this glass fob which is in keeping with its age. But this adds such a lovely charm to the piece. It's truly amazing to know it was used all those years ago.
