This ring is an exemplary piece of jewellery made in England under the reign of Queen Victoria. It's truly a one of a kind!
With a central Old cut Diamond and two beautiful pigeon-blood red Rubies in a traditional gypsy-style star setting, and made from 18ct Gold, it truly is a quality piece. It has a good weight to it and a robust, quality feel that can wear with confidence.
Fully hallmarked with "18" and the Crown to signify the purity of the Gold and the Date Letter "M" for 1895. The shield shape signified the ring was Assayed in the English town of Chester.
We believe it was originally a gents, but could easily be sized down for a lady. It's a remarkable piece of history in good antique condition, ready for a new adventure!
