ERA: Victorian (1837-1901).
MEASUREMENTS: Necklace is 16" or 40.5cm long.
Necklace is approximately 12.5mm wide.
Weight: 12g
MATERIALS: Tests as metal clasp, Tasmanian Shells.
HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made prior to 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

Condition
VERY GOOD. This antique 14ct Gold Tasmanian sea shell necklace is in lovely condition throughout. Each shell has retained its vibrant sheen, sure to turn heads at every opportunity. A few have suffered some damage due to their delicate nature, although they have remained securely strung and her clasp is fully functioning. Lightweight and easy to wear, this Victorian necklace will be like no other in your collection.
