What a fine example of a Victorian gypsy ring this is!
A joyful rosy 9ct Gold band sprinkled with the most lustrous natural seed Pearls and two of the prettiest pink Garnets shimmering with every move, you really can't go wrong with this genuine antique ring!
The term "gypsy" comes from the type of setting used for the stones in this style of ring. It's the process of drilling a hole that is slightly smaller than the stone and working it in and then setting them in place by working the metal around it. Often granulation (small metal balls) is also used for extra support. This technique was popular in Victorian times and is becoming an increasingly fashionable technique used in modern day jewellery.
The profile of this Victorian gypsy ring makes her perfect for stacking alongside your other favourites, or could even be a unique and unusual engagement ring or wedding band!
