VERY GOOD: The 9ct Gold Georgian Garnet and Pearl cluster brooch is in excellent condition. The 9ct Gold body has held its shape wonderfully holding in all the gemstones securely. One small Garnet seems to be a replacement, possibly Paste and the repair most likely to have been carried about during the Victorian era. This doesn't take away from the beauty and charm of this superb brooch. All the other Garnets including the large central Garnet are well kept over its long lifetime. The Pearls are all lovely and lustrous, set securely in the 9ct Gold. The pin and hinge are in perfect working order, ready to be worn straight away! We can't express enough how incredible this brooch truly is... It would make the perfect Georgian collectible!
