VERY GOOD. A divine 1930's Art Deco Black Opal Diamond cluster ring in very good condition!
The Opal is smoothly domed and has stood the test of time very well. This Opal in particular is impressive in size and has been verified as a true, natural Black Opal (from Lightning Ridge, Australia) by an independent gemologist. There is some very light crazing towards the edges of the gem, but this is noted for accuracy only and there are no cracks. We feel the gemstone is very much in a stable condition and if well cared for should last many more years. The Opal is securely set and sure to give you that all important wow factor!
The setting is unmarked, which is not unusual for the time, but tests as solid 18ct White Gold with Platinum settings around the Opal. The ring band is robust enough to wear with confidence, although we do recommend that this incredible Art Deco Opal ring is best kept as a special occasion piece, sure to steal the show wherever she goes.
