What a ring! This wonderful antique 18ct Gold Ruby cluster ring was crafted during the Victorian era, circa 1880, and features the most beautiful natural Rubies!
The Rubies are set in a traditional cluster or daisy style design and are a bright pinky red colour with plenty of rich and juicy rasberry and magenta undertones. They all have a great amount of sparkle and fire, even in darker lighting conditions, but when the light hits them they really glow.
If you look from the side you'll see the Rubies are all set in a crown-like setting with a pretty open gallery. And the structural split shoulders are so unique!
We love the mixture of sweet and feminine, and striking that this bold Victorian ring delivers.
It has a really comfortable 2mm band so you can wear it daily with pride.

This pretty antique 18ct Gold Ruby cluster ring is in very good condition, ready to wear and enjoy. The colour of the Rubies is divine! They draw the gaze with their phenomenal colour and radiance, and they are all well-matched and chip free. The band and setting are in excellent condition, with a beautiful high shine polish and no thinning to the back of the band.
As with the majority of antiques, the ring does have some wear commensurate with age. One of the Rubies is has a fair amount of wear to it and has taken on a more rounded appearance, and this is reflected in the item price. That being said they still sit very well as a group, the colours well-matched and this slight imperfection can only be seen on close inspection. We don't mind if antique jewells have a story to tell, and this one is definitely a fairytale...
