This 18ct Gold Black Opal stick pin is a stunning piece of Edwardian jewellery. This eye-catching jewel will look stunning against a chunky knit or tailored blazer.
Despite this piece being crafted over a century ago, you cannot deny that she has a modern "feel" to her. The Black Opal has a vivid tropical blue centre, akin to a Morpho Butterfly Wing, the perfect contrast to the buttery 18ct Gold.
ERA: Edwardian (1901-1909).
MEASUREMENTS: Pin 55mm long.
Stick pin head 10.5mm long x 11mm wide.
MATERIALS: Solid 18ct Gold, Black Opal.
HALLMARKS: Tests as solid 18ct Gold throughout.
VERY GOOD: This 18ct Gold Black Opal stick pin is in fabulous antique condition. The Black Opal is secure within her settings, with the stick pin head also equally secure onto the pin. There is one surface-level fracture on the side of the Opal, which is not noticeable when worn but prohibits this piece from being converted into a pendant as the heat will damage her further. However, you can still enjoy and wear this stick pin just as she was over a century ago!
