EXCELLENT: This 16" 9ct Gold Georgian foiled Garnet Riviere necklace is sublime. The Garnet's themselves are offered to you in exceptional condition. In fact, these are some of the brightest and liveliest Garnets we have ever had the pleasure of seeing! You cannot help but be drawn in by their festive crimson colours, with subtle hints of pink and burnt sienna. The clasp is also original to the piece and is camouflaged to create the Riviere effect (French for river!), and the smooth button-back settings are in fantastic order too. There is one subtle solder near the clasp which was likely done many moons ago and is almost invisible. All in all this antique necklace is magnificent - you would be lucky to have her in your collection!
