Crafted entirely from buttery 15ct Gold, exquisite snake chains such as these were popular during the early Victorian era, and this piece features a beautiful heart-shaped locket drop, alongside gorgeous punchy Garnet gems.
This necklace in particular is an excellent display of craftsmanship, consisting of a series of interlocking rings that perfectly mimic the scales of a snake, giving her gorgeous movement too. Wearing this piece around your neck is sure to capture the attention of others, a captivating piece which can be passed down through the generations!

Chain is 5.5mm in diameter.
Head is 32.5mm long.
Heart is 15mm long x 15mm wide.
Garnet gems vary in size from 3mm in diameter, to 5.5mm long x 4mm wide.

Condition:
EXCELLENT. This 15ct Gold Garnet snake chain is in excellent condition, especially considering her grand age. The necklace has very little wear to note overall. The Garnets are bright and punchy, securely set and have a gorgeous subtle variation in hue. The back of the piece has its hallmark visible. We adore the locket drop detail, a sweet homage to a loved one whose photo you place inside. We really find it difficult to fault this incredible piece, surviving all of these years with only a minor ding to the base of the snake head.
