As we specialise in unique and antique jewellery, there is no one-size-fits-all answer to this. Whether a ring can be resized is dependent on whether the ring has previously been resized, the style of ring, the materials, and the age of the ring.

Most of our engagement rings are from the Victorian, Edwardian, and Art Deco eras. We advise against using anything older than Victorian as an engagement ring because of the fragility that comes with age.

Here at Lillicoco, we are experts in antique and vintage jewellery so you can rest assured that when you are buying an engagement ring from us it is exactly what we say it is. Unfortunately due to the age of the jewellery we work with, rarely do we have certification of authenticity, etc. With that being said, please do get in touch if you have any queries relating to the ring of your choice.
What happens if the ring doesn’t fit?
If your chosen antique engagement ring doesn’t fit, we can assess and arrange resizing options for you, so that you can get that perfect fit! If this is not possible for whatever reason (eg. style or material doesn’t allow), we will do our utmost to find a solution for you, all you need to do is get in touch with us!
