EXCELLENT-VERY GOOD: This Georgian Garnet Pearl drop pendant is in beautiful condition for its 200 year age. All of the gemstones are securely set, and the foiling is in wonderful order too. This piece was actually originally part of an earring set, but one of the earrings have been lost with time. Yet, the large "hoop" earring can allow thick and thin chains to be passed through with ease. To allow her to be worn as a pendant, we have soldered the earring hoop shut giving you peace of mind. Another consideration is that one of the tiny Garnets is missing, and whilst this may be noticeable in the macro-photographs it is nothing to worry about when worn. This truly is an amazing pendant and you will be very lucky to have this rare dignified jewel in your collection!
