Description:

What a wonderful sight to behold with this incredible Georgian 18ct Gold Pearl mourning ring, complete with its very own rare hallmarks dating all the way back to 1823.

She isn't something you come across every day which intrigues us even more with this stunning ring. The 18ct Gold band has been ornately embossed all the way around creating a lovely texture with beautiful warm golden tones.

We are led up the shank which has been intricately hand-painted with black enamel which gives a striking contrast between the soft Gold and the dark sheen of the black enamel shoulders.

A cluster of natural seed Pearls sits perfectly in a square above the shoulders, blushing a beautiful iridescent white gleam when the light hits them in the most glorious of fashions.

A beautifully plaited lock of hair sits inside the Pearl cluster, as was the norm in the Georgian era when mourning a loved one. The inscription on the back reads, "Mrs Phelps, 14th May 1839 of 59 yrs".

This ring is a superb example from the Georgian era, showcasing the amazing craftsmanship and masterful talent of its time, kept in perfect condition. We think this one won't be around too long because of its sheer beauty, be quick to snap her up before someone else gets there first!
