Plucked straight from a fairytale, this Georgian 18ct Gold pink Topaz pendant is heavenly! Homing five Pink Topaz, with a combined carat weight of 6.45ct, each one flaunts a spectrum of twinkling mauve hues poised perfectly in a cross formation.

Whimsical Goldwork with dappled textures weavs between each Pink Topaz, crafted from sumptuous 18ct Gold, with beaded detailing at the centre. The soft colour palette combined with the fine Gold work gives this Georgian pendant a delicate and feminine aesthetic.

ERA: Georgian, c.1820-1830.

MEASUREMENTS: Pendant is 41.5mm long x 29mm wide.
Central Pink Topaz is 14.5mm long x 7.5mm wide, weighing approx 2.45ct.
4 x Pink Topaz are 8.5mm long x 5.5mm wide, weighing approx 1.00ct each.
Total Topaz carat weight approx 6.45ct.
Weight: 7.7g

MATERIALS: Tests as 18ct Gold throughout, Pink Topaz (6.45ct).

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made prior to 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

EXCELLENT. Especially when considering the grand age of this Georgian 18ct Gold pink Topaz pendant, over 200 years, she is in excellent antique condition! The Pink Topaz are all present, secure, fabulously faceted and have varying tones from one to the next. The Gold work is in crisp condition, with the texture consistent throughout; it makes for a lovely contrast against the smooth bezel settings. There are some areas of darkening to the Gold underneath the settings, however, this won't be seen when worn. With a soldered jump-ring, this antique Topaz pendant is calling to be suspended from an antique Gold chain!
